Tomorrow’s meeting is the last day to sign up and pay for the Winterplace Ski Trip! The trip is February 7-8 (one night), and it is perfect for new and experienced skiers/snowboarders. We will drive up on Friday evening per usual and ski/board on Saturday until 3ish, then we will drive home. Scouts have the option to bring their own gear, or rent from Winterplace. All fees and rental information will be in the Scout room with Mr Sharp.
This Sunday, February 2, is Scout Sunday! Please arrive at Mount Tabor UMC at 8:30am and meet in the Welcome Center (upstairs near where our banquet was held) . We will be assisting with the service and sharing our troop with the congregation who supports us. All scouts need to be in full Class A (Scout pants, Scout shirt, neckerchief, merit badge sash). Families are invited to join us! The male troop at Mt Tabor hosts a food drive every year to collect items for Maple Springs food pantry. Tomorrow evening, we will pass out the Scouting for Food bags. If you would like, please fill your bag with canned/nonperishable goods and bring it to church on Sunday morning. The service will end at 10am.
